Empowering girls and women to take charge of their financial future

We are a youth-led, student-run nonprofit focused on spreading financial literacy among underprivileged girls and young women across India. At Chetna NGO, we believe that knowledge is power—and financial knowledge can be life-changing.

Our mission is to equip women with the tools they need to become independent decision-makers, especially in vulnerable situations like domestic violence or economic instability. From budgeting basics to entrepreneurship, we offer accessible, practical workshops that help women understand money, banking, digital finance, government schemes, and more.

We’ve conducted workshops across India and provided internship opportunities to high schoolers and under-resourced students alike. By partnering with educators, community centers, and schools, we’re building a movement of financially aware, self-reliant women—one session at a time.
